Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist superior in coordinating and overseeing property development projects, refurbishment works, and business development activities.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and timelines to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Support the preparation and review of project reports, work programs, budgets, and market research.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory, statutory, and company requirements.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner; provide technical support to the Property Maintenance Team as needed.
  • Attend site inspections, ensure contractors’ work meets required quality standards and timely handover to the Property Maintenance Team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in property development, construction, or project management, with exposure to both residential landed and high-rise projects preferred.
  • Proven experience in supporting property development projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of development processes, construction methodologies, and statutory requirements in Malaysia.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiar with contract administration (e.g., PAM contract); basic knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, or other design software is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Willing to travel and be based at project sites as required.
