Job summary

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a capable MIS Analyst to maintain and enhance reporting MIS systems, deliver timely management reports, and support cross-functional teams across the Group and business units. You will optimize data quality, drive process improvements, and assist with annual planning initiatives.

The role requires a quantitative degree and strong MS Office skills, plus knowledge of Power Query/Power Pivot/Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (math, stats, CS, finance, accounting, econ)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • System maintenance: Maintain, review, and enhance the MIS Systems to support reliable management reporting and analysis.
  • Reporting preparation: Prepare and deliver timely management reports to Group and business/support units, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear presentation of key information.
  • Business support: Coordinate and respond to management information requests from Group and business/support units, including analysis, clarification, and follow-up where required.
  • Continuous improvement: Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting processes, improve data quality, and enhance stakeholder experience.
  • Operational planning: Support and drive annual operational planning activities and related corporate initiatives.
