Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Group Finance Manager responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with MFRS. The role involves consolidation of Group accounts, financial analysis, and coordination of the annual budget, requiring a degree in Accountancy and a minimum of six years of experience in finance, especially in group consolidation. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsible for the monthly consolidation of Group accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

Prepare quarterly financial reports in compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.

Review and analyse monthly financial results, including variance analysis.

Ensure proper maintenance of financial and management accounting records.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls for financial reporting.

Oversee the Group’s financial reporting, taxation, and transfer pricing matters; liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

Coordinate and prepare the Group’s annual budget.

Support corporate finance activities and strategic financial initiatives of the Group.

Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MICPA).

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in group consolidation within a listed company and/or audit experience involving group consolidation.

Strong technical knowledge of MFRS and group consolidation principles.

Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
