Job Description

• Prepare cost-effective & optimum design solutions on customized scaffolding as per project/client requirements in line with industry standards;
• Review and ensure the safety, feasibility, and functionality of designs, with a focus on structural aspects, considering factors such as constructability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability;
• Offer technical support to sales and project departments, including tendering and on-site construction;
• Coordinate with various stakeholders such as sales engineers, clients, consultants, and/or contractors for projects;
• Efficiently manage additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the management;
• Independent execution of scaffold design, formwork, and shoring;
• Preparation of GADs, BQs, statical calculations, and method statements for offers and order execution;
• Brief Product Specialist before arrival on site (hand over GADs, BQs, and assembly drawings, give relevant "soft" information);
• Support the Project Manager whenever needed;
• Practice subsidiary-related standards and check the availability of products;
• Project-related cooperation with other departments;
• Advise and support the Sales Engineer in engineering-related matters;
• Liaise with Operations Departments to ensure performing deliveries;
• Coordinate site-specific requirements with the Product Specialist.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding, formwork, shoring, or related industry;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of other software (Solidworks, Revit, Sketchup, and Microstation) will be an added advantage;
• Familiarity with architectural, civil, electrical, or mechanical drafting;
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
• Fluent in English and ability to read and converse in Mandarin is a must;
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
• Good analytical skills and synthesis capacities;
• Results and productivity driven;
• Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships;
• Self-motivated, able to work independently;
