Contract Financing Specialist

• Evaluate the performance risk of borrowers, including their past experience and track record.
• Assess the payment risk of awarders, including verifying the genuineness of contracts and contract trails (especially for sub-contractors).
• Prepare and analyze cash flows and repayment risks.
• Structure facilities, determining the appropriate facility and amount, as well as security arrangements.
• Implement ring fencing, tracking, and monitoring T&Cs to mitigate performance and payment risks.
• Collaborate closely with ARM & borrower/contractor/awarder to understand the dynamics of financed contracts on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct quarterly site visits for all projects financed by the bank.
• Build and maintain relationships with awarders to track physical and financial progress of contracts.
• Work with product partners including Trade Services, HL Markets, and Deposit & Liability Management to meet clients' financial needs comprehensively.
• Ensure banking facilities are structured in compliance with credit lending policies.
• Verify that key risks are adequately addressed by in CAs before submission to WSB.
• Maintain the asset quality of the bank at all times.
• Monitor and promote utilization of existing facilities to increase revenue.
• Serve as a point of reference for all Contract Finance matters, providing support and advice to ARMs nationwide.

Account Prospecting

• Identify and contact prospective clients.
• Assess prospects' financing needs.
• Develop Contract Finance structures accordingly.

Account Management

• Monitor facility utilization.
• Process ad-hoc requests and requests for additional facilities.
• Review borrowers' facilities periodically.
• Maintain contact with clients through site visits and other means.
• Explore cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit & Marketing of Contract Financing facilities.
