An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to oversee construction projects across various regions. This role involves planning, managing, and ensuring compliance with project specifications while implementing effective M&E strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, along with project management experience. ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
To plan and manage the construction department and ensure that project construction work is carried out as scheduled and in compliance with approved project specification for all regions.
The following duties are not exclusive and certain items require effective delegation in whole or in part to be adequately fulfilled.
1. Responsible for guiding the overall M&E strategy (All Regions) and implementation of related activities within projects and via partners.
2. Compile list of materials for submission and client approval.
3. Provide timely and relevant information to project stakeholders.
4. Set up the M&E system (All Regions) and ensure it is implemented effectively by the key stakeholders.
5. Arrange, prepare and submit shop drawings for approval.
6. Guide the process for identifying the key performance questions and parameters for monitoring project performance and comparing it to targets.
7. Develop a plan for project - related capacity-building on M&E and for any computer-based support that may be required.
9. Prepare reports on M&E findings.
