We’re on the lookout for a driven and detail-savvy Assistant Manager, Legal to join our team! From reviewing contracts to tackling litigation and navigating regulations, you’ll play a key role in keeping our business running smoothly — and legally sound. What You Will Be Doing:-
Provide legal advice in respect ofregulatory guidelines applicable to products and business conduct of the Group.
To draft, prepare, review and advise on corporate agreements, contracts and other documents.
To manage litigation matters, reviewing court documents and liaising with external solicitors in respect of litigation matters involving the Group.
To handle all enquiries/matters in relation to legal matters, provide legal opinions and proposals for resolution of legal issues.
Provide legal support to the Group in all legal, operational and contractual matters
To conduct legal research and keep abreast with development or updates in the relevant laws and regulations applicable to business;
Reviews contracts and actively supports contract negotiations with the objective to minimize company’s risk exposure, in line with company’s policies as well as risk and contract review procedures
To represent the company in all tribunal and/or legal related matters.
To carry out any other duties as and when directed by HOD.
What We're Looking For:-
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Law or equivalent
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Good in Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Points
Excellent in interpersonal skills, communication and high level of integrity and confidentially
Experiences in Corporate Conveyancing and Litigation
Able to work with minimum supervision and able to work in a team
