Job description

Assistant Manager, Leasing for a shopping mall plays a crucial role in driving revenue, enhancing the tenant mix, and optimizing the overall performance and competitiveness of the retail property in a dynamic and evolving market landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support, implement, and execute overall leasing strategies and plans for the shopping mall.
  2. Assist in the preparation of annual rental income budgets and overall budget forecasts for prospective leases.
  3. Develop feasibility studies based on current market trends and needs, and conduct research on competitive leasing and kiosks leasing trends within the shopping mall industry.
  4. Handle leasing and tenancy administration functions, including the preparation of tenancy agreements and renewals.
  5. Manage and coordinate tenant fit-out activities in collaboration with the operations/facility team.
  6. Work with other departments to improve tenants’ performance and streamline tenancy and leasing operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certificates or training from relevant marketing or property management bodies, e.g., Persatuan Pengurusan Kompleks (PPK).
  • At least 3 years of experience in leasing.
