Support the Head of Investment in managing the company’s investment portfolios in alignment with strategic asset allocation and risk appetite.

Perform investment analysis, performance and risk monitoring, and market research to support portfolio decisions.

Assist in evaluating new investment opportunities, including public and private market assets.

Monitor and report on asset-liability matching and investment performance against benchmarks.

Contributes to the due diligence process for the selection of external fund managers.

Oversee the performance and compliance of external fund managers, including mandate monitoring, regular reviews, and alignment with company investment objectives.

Regulatory Reporting

Prepare timely and accurate investment-related reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Liaise with Finance and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure consistent application of regulatory standards and timely audit support.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and support internal and external reporting requests.

Support climate-related investment reporting, including disclosures under the Climate Change and Principle-based Taxonomy (CCPT), and assist in aligning investment activities with emerging ESG regulatory expectations.

Stakeholder Management

Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., product, actuarial, finance) to align investment strategy with business growth objectives.

Contribute investment insights to product development, pricing strategies, and strategic projects.

Support strategic initiatives, such as sustainable investing or expanding into new asset classes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA, FRM, or progress toward certification is a plus.

Possess Dealer License issued by Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM) or keen to pursue upon joining.

3 - 5 years of experience in investment management, insurance asset management, or financial reporting.

Familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks and investment guidelines in Malaysia.

Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel/financial modeling skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across teams and functions.
