Position: Assistant Manager, Investigations and Compliance

Reports To

Head, Group Business Integrity

Role Purpose

Join an elite team conducting investigations for MAG, involving criminal and civil matters. The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in criminal and civil investigations, preferably with an enforcement agency or relevant organization. Knowledge of Limits of Authority (LOA), PDPA, Anti-Human and Wildlife Trafficking, and related issues is essential. The role includes conducting training sessions for the Group. This position is highly demanding, requiring integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct criminal and civil investigations for MAG.
  2. Attend court hearings and internal inquiries, with familiarity in litigation, especially relating to the Courts Act.
  3. Provide training when required; candidates must be confident, articulate, and presentable.
  4. Possess strong communication skills to effectively present and convince audiences.
  5. Complete investigation reports accurately and promptly, documenting evidence thoroughly.
  6. Present investigation findings to GMD and BAC as needed.
  7. Assist with LOA and CAAP-related matters as required.
  8. Be prepared for long hours and occasional travel.
  9. Work collaboratively within a team environment; silo working is not acceptable.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in any field with at least 7 years' experience in investigations and operational areas.
  • Experience in law enforcement is preferred.
