Job Title

Assistant Manager, Investigations and Compliance

Reports To

Head, Group Business Integrity

Role Purpose

To be part of an elite team conducting investigation work for MAG, involving criminal and civil matters. The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in criminal and civil investigations, either via an enforcement agency or relevant agency. The candidate should be well-versed in issues pertaining to Limits of Authority (LOA), PDPA, Anti-Human and Wildlife Trafficking, etc. The role also requires conducting training sessions for the Group. The position is highly demanding, requiring integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct investigations for MAG, which may be criminal or civil in nature.
  2. Attend court hearings and internal inquiries as required, with knowledge of litigation matters, preferably related to the Courts Act.
  3. Provide training sessions when needed; must be confident and presentable, not timid or camera-shy.
  4. Possess good oratory skills and the ability to persuade audiences.
  5. Complete investigation reports promptly, accurately documenting evidence collected.
  6. Present investigation outcomes to GMD and BAC when required.
  7. Assist with LOA and CAAP-related matters as needed.
  8. Be prepared for long hours and duty travel.
  9. Work effectively as part of a team; silo work is not acceptable.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in any field with at least 7 years of relevant operational and investigative experience.
  • Preferably from a law enforcement background.
