Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters seeks an Assistant Manager, Internal Audit in Putrajaya to plan and execute risk-based audits across operational, financial and compliance domains in line with the annual audit plan.

You will evaluate governance, risk management and internal controls, prepare clear reports, follow up actions and support management with process improvements while travelling to mills and sites as required. English reporting preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or related discipline.
• Membership in a recognised professional accounting body or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in internal and/or external auditing, including at least 2 years at Assistant Manager level.
• Experience in the plantation or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Willing to travel extensively, including regular visits to palm oil mills and operational sites.
• Excellent command of English and strong report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based audits across operational, financial and compliance domains.
• Evaluate governance, risk management and internal control effectiveness.
• Assess compliance with company policies, SOPs, applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide consultancy and advisory support to identify opportunities for business process improvements and enhanced internal controls.
• Conduct special reviews, investigations and other ad hoc assignments as requested by Management.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, highlighting key findings, risks and recommendations for improvement.
• Follow up on agreed management action plans and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
