Job summary

WCT Land in Malaysia is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to plan and execute audits, review findings with the Head of Department, and ensure timely reporting.

You will identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor corrective actions with senior management. The role also includes coaching junior auditors and contributing to preventive actions to sustain business continuity within property development operations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant internal audit experience; experience in property development/public listed company is a plus.
• Fluent in Malay and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct audits as assigned by the Head of Department.
• Identify, evaluate and proactively manage risks and weaknesses with mitigation strategies.
• Attend entry and exit meetings to ensure audit findings are communicated.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken by auditees and monitor progress.

Job description

Schedule and conduct audits assigned by Head of Department (HOD).

Identify, evaluate and proactively manage the risk/ weakness, developing strategies to mitigate them.

Attend entry and exist meetings to ensure audit findings being communicate.

Ensure corrective actions are taken by auditees and monitor progress.

Prepare and submit accurate, clear and concise audit report.

Execute follow-up audit on every three months interval, complete and submit the audit report 2 weeks before the quarterly Audit Committee meeting.

Coach the junior internal audit executive to identify, analyze and review the data to complete the assignment effectively.

Support in the development of preventive actions and interventions to ensure continuity if the business.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time basis.

What we need:

Candidate pursued with Bachelors Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or equivalent.

Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant experience. Candidate with experience in a property development / public listed company would be an advantage.

Fluency in Malay and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
