We are looking for a proactive, technically skilled Assistant Manager – IT Hardware & Network Applications to plan, design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure that keeps our operations secure, reliable, and ready for the future.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, giving you the opportunity to guide innovation while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Server Room & Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee physical and virtual server environments, ensuring high availability, scalability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle and environmental controls (power, cooling, access).
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Cloud Technology Operations
  • Design, deploy and manage hybrid cloud solutions using platforms like Azure, AWS and VMWare.
  • Monitor cloud performance, cost optimization and security posture.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Network Infrastructure Management
  • Administer LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers and wireless systems.
  • Ensure network reliability, performance and security.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for upgrades and support.
• Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Implement cybersecurity policies, tools, and incident response protocols.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and threat monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g PDPA, ISO27001, NIST).
  • Support the adoption and integration of AI tools for IT operations, analytics and automation.
  • Collaborate with data teams to deploy machine learning models and intelligent systems.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies for business relevance and scalability.
• Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead or support IT infrastructure, security and AI related projects.
  • Prepare technical documentations, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Align IT strategies with business goals and digital transformation roadmaps.
  • Mentor junior IT staff and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfill IT requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, cybersecurity and AI technologist.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Azure / AWS, CISSP, CEH or AI/ML related credentials are highly desirable.
