Job Summary:

This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Build strong partnership to deliver people plan for the region. Serves as an advisor on people-related matters and acts as an employee champion and change agent.

Responsibilities:

  1. Be the single point of contact for all stakeholders under Habib Group.
  2. Be responsible to embed Habib Group’s values in our day-to-day Operations.
  3. Attend regional meetings which includes regular showroom visits, and actively participates in all people discussions, challenging the team to ensure the best people decisions are made for the business.
  4. Provide support to the stakeholders on handling people-related matters – manpower planning, recruitment, staff movements and exit process.
  5. Actively support stakeholders on headcount budgeting, planning and recruitment initiatives.
  6. Work closely with Learning & Development to deliver centralized induction for new recruits.
  7. Partner with stakeholders to deliver engagement initiatives including action plan to address the feedbacks and concerns.
  8. Ensure disciplinary cases are escalated to Industrial Relation Team for further investigation and handle fairly to a legitimate process.
  9. To manage, supervise and provide guidance to the HR Operations team members when dealing with matters pertaining to HR Operations.
  10. Conduct on-boarding/induction training for new hire.
  11. To assist ad-hoc projects related to HR Operations as and when assigned by the Head, Group Human Resources.
  12. To review HR Operations Standard Operating Procedures and update as and when required.

Requirements:

  1. At least 6-7 years of relevant experience.
  2. Ability to “mentor” and influence leadership team and managers on people related matters
  3. Ability to work independently and cope with ambiguity.
  4. Candidate must possess minimum Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Management or equivalent. However, those with lesser qualification but with relevant working experience, are encouraged to apply.
  5. Well versed in HR practices, have strong knowledge and creative thinking in driving staff engagement, cultivating company culture and core values.
  6. Has excellent interpersonal skills, influencing, communications and presentation skills.
  7. Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Driven and comfortable with an agile / entrepreneurial environment.
  9. Mobile and able to travel between Stores within the region.
