Job description

As the Assistant Manager, HR, you will be responsible for managing daily HR operations and ensuring smooth delivery of HR services to support a positive work environment and help the company achieve its business goals. Your key responsibilities will include handling payroll and the HR Information System, managing employee benefits, expatriate matters, group safety compliance, coordinating with IT vendors, overseeing internal communication, supporting performance management, and maintaining employee relations. The ideal candidate should also have a strong knowledge of HR practices and regulations, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently within tight deadlines.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Provide leadership, problem solving, coaching, training, and develop HR teams to be a competent team.
  2. Monitor HR policies, procedures, processes and programs are communicated and executed effectively.
  3. Provide policies and procedures interpretation to employees.
  4. Provide guidance to managers and supervisors to manage within the HR guidelines and procedure to ensure full compliance.
  5. Partner up with managers to create a conducive and harmony work environment to improve work engagement.
  6. Work with managers and supervisors to manage within HR guidelines and procedure to ensure full compliance of HR policy & procedures.
  7. Ensure HR administrations are managed efficiently and effectively, including management of all employee payroll and benefits scheme to ensure salary is paid on time and accurately.
  8. Ensure compliance to statutory regulatory requirement related to HR include LHDN, KWSP, SOCSO, PERKESO, foreign worker, expatriate and Group Safety.
  9. Group Performance Management cycle is managed efficiently to support annual performance reward.
  10. Provide guidance to new and existing employee on using ePMS System to facilitate annual performance planning and feedback to create a result-driven organization to motivate employee to excel in their performance and is rewarded based on performance.
  11. Responsible to prepare ESG data related to HR to Corporate Affairs for ESG Reporting. All HR reports are prepared and analysed accurately and submitted on time to the relevant stakeholders.
  12. To identify any inefficiency in daily operations and suggest improvement proposal where possible.
  13. To deliver the result within value system of EITA.
  14. Any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.

Are you the one?

  1. Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  2. 4-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  3. Possess knowledge and skill in HR Management such as, Employment Legislation, statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax), foreign worker legislation, OSHA, employee integration, performance management process, disciplinary & counselling.
  4. Experience as HR Generalist.
  5. Possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
  6. Proactive & result oriented.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media.
  8. Good command of written and spoken in English, Malay, Mandarin. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred due to the need to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  9. Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang.
