A leading company in waste oil manufacturing is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions and ensure compliance with local employment laws. The role involves managing employee relations, recruitment, and policy enforcement while working in a dynamic environment focused on sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resource Management and substantial experience in the field, contributing to the company's commitment to cleaner energy solutions.
1. Coordinate and monitor the implementation of all Human Resource functions to support the human capital needs of the Company.
2. Review HR policies, rules regulations and to be up-to-date with local employment laws, statutory, and regulations
3. Implementing and enforcement of company policies, rules, and regulations
4. Draft proposed new and enhancements to existing policies, rules and regulations based on the guidance of the Superior for approval by Management and implementation
5. Source for suitable candidates to fulfil the manpower needs of the respective departments
6. Coordinate the scheduling and interviewing of shortlisted applicants
7. Coordinate the issuance of the Letter of Offer and the relevant documents for successful applicants
8. To conduct induction/orientation and training program for newly joined employee
9. Rectify employee grievances and solve their satisfactory resolution.
10. Plan and organize all Industrial Relation activities such as case investigations, issuance of letters (Caution, Show Cause, Warning, Suspension, etc.), domestic inquiry and dismissal process.
11. Conduct employee exit interviews to understand the reasons for the employee’s resignation.
12. To uplift discipline in the company by reducing lateness by 30%.
13. Conduct benchmarking of existing pay levels and benefits to be up-to-date with current general market practices.
14. Propose enhancements to pay levels and benefits to be at par with market.
15. Conduct periodic review of salary grade structures and levels to keep pace with the industry.
16. To properly maintain all HR documents filling systems.
17. Establish and maintain positive working relationship with all Local Authorities, Labour Department, SOCSO, Immigration, LHDN, Police and etc for any related issues.
