Job Purpose
  • To support the management of the panel clinic network by assisting in clinic engagements, service agreements, grievance resolution, and operational improvements.
  • The role ensures smooth coordination between clinics and internal teams to optimize service quality and cost efficiency, contributing to the success of the department.
The Role:
  • Assist in identifying, onboarding, and managing panel clinics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinic management and practitioners.
  • Support negotiations for service agreements, discounts, and other contractual arrangements with clinics.
  • Monitor and report on trends in medical charges, clinic performance, and cost management initiatives.
  • Assist in resolving grievances, including service issues, billing disputes, or operational concerns with panel clinics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Evaluate clinic performance and suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure panel clinics comply with medical regulations, ethical standards, and Company policies.
  • Prepare reports on network performance, cost trends, medical service utilization, and issue resolution.
  • Attend to any other tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.
The Person:
  • Possess a Degree in a Healthcare-related field of studies. Majoring in Insurance would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare management, or medical insurance operations.
  • Strong understanding of primary care clinical settings, medical cost structures, and treatment protocols.
  • Experience in engaging with healthcare providers, including general practitioners and specialists.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation and stakeholder management, particularly in medical service agreements and cost-containment initiatives.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, particularly related to medical billing, claims, and grievance resolution.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and industry practices.
  • Experience in managing or supporting operational processes in medical insurance or healthcare networks.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability for work, and has a good attitude towards teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and is adaptable to embrace new changes.
