A leading company in the automotive sector seeks an Assistant Manager GCSP QEM Specialist to oversee Quality and Environmental Management for Logistics Centers in Asia Pacific. Job Description - Assistant Manager GCSP QEM Specialist Asia Pacific (MER0003PZT)
Description
1.Continuous development of the GCSP Integrated Management System (IMS)
a)Proactively initiate continuous improvement activities amongst all Logistics Centers (LC).
b)Advise executives, affected employees and local representatives in the implementation of such activities.
c)Facilitate and encourage vertical (HQ-KL-LC) and horizontal (LC to LC) communication and exchange, especially towards improvement activities and risk mitigation.
d)Ensure integration and alignment of QEM/PM activities in/with overall IMS activities
e)Support in respective other functions (e.g. Energy Management) within the IMS.
f)Participate in various projects and other initiatives.
2.Maintenance of an up-to-date qualification level regarding external and internal standards of the appointed QEM-Officers in all Logistics Centers
a)Execute initial qualification/training of newly appointed QEM Officers.
c)Execute awareness training for all Site Managers.
3.Constant review of the current compliance level regarding QEM/PM in all Logistics Centers
a)Stay up to date with the latest internal and external ISO requirements.
b)Conduct regular Internal Audits and Environmental Compliance Checks, write the official audit reports and upload results to the audit tool.
c)Advise executives, affected employees and local representatives when incompliances and risks occur in such audits & compliance checks.
d)Track the implementation of measures to counter such incompliances and risks that resulted from these audits & compliance checks
4.Ensure and maintain ISO certification for all Logistics Centers
a)In cooperation with direct supervisor, coordinate with certification agencies (i.e. TÜV Süd) to schedule external certification audits.
b)Support the Logistics Centers before, during and after such audits.
c)Advise executives, affected employees and local representatives when incompliances, risks occur and support to tailor respective solutions.
d)Monitor and evaluate the LC in the implementation of measures to close the gaps detected in such audits.
Qualifications
•Academic degree in Business Administration or a comparable education with corresponding professional experience.
•Fluent and professional Business-English language skills.
Experience (type of)
•Minimum 3 years of working experience in the fields of Quality Management, Environmental Management and Process Management.
•Minimum 3 years of working experience in maintaining Quality/Environmental Management systems e.g. acc. to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
•Minimum 3 years of working experience in conducting/leading Quality/Environmental Management audits e.g. acc. to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
•Work experience in the automotive industry, preferrable in logistics environment or comparable area desired.
•Preferably additional experience in the field of Energy Management.
•Preferably additional experience in the fields of parts logistics and supply chain management (After Sales).
•Confident in conducting both online and F2F training.
Specific knowledge/ Skill
•Fluent in English (corporate language), and any additional languages is a plus.
•Ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time and under pressure.
•Confident in decision-making and able to manage business conflicts.
