About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage to join our team at Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd' in Subang Jaya, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in overseeing the food and beverage operations within our leading healthcare facility.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the overall management of the department, including planning, organizing and directing all food and beverage operations

Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and an exceptional dining experience for our patients, visitors and staff

Collaborating effectively with Dietitians to tailor patient meal plans to meet both nutritional standards and preferences

Oversee the entire cafe & store operation including scheduling and supervision of the food and beverage team, providing coaching and mentoring as required

Lead and monitor inventory and stock levels and managing budgets effectively

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety across all food and beverage facilities

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new initiatives to enhance the department's performance

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for the food and beverage offerings

What we're looking for

Possess Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field

Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Assistant Manager or supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a high-quality dining experience

Proficient in inventory management, budgeting and cost control

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety
