Join our team as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. As Assistant Manager, your key role is to support the F&B Manager, ensure smooth daily operations, supervise staff, and step in during their absence to maintain exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning, monitoring, updating, and consolidating all operational documentation.
  2. Working closely with dietitians on patient meal matters.
  3. Monitoring and ordering F&B items and disposable stocks to ensure sufficient supplies.
  4. Assisting in store operations related to stock receiving, issuing, or ordering.
  5. Overseeing water dispenser issues across the medical center.
  6. Managing tray lines, meal serving in wards, and café operations.
  7. Guiding the food service team on operational matters.
  8. Managing cost control to prevent wastage.
  9. Handling banquet event bookings, meal orders, and coordination with kitchens/vendors.
  10. Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, JCI, MSQH, HALAL policies.
  11. Supporting internal and external audits and addressing compliance issues.
  12. Resolving operational concerns for continuous improvement.

Customer Service:

  1. Monitoring service quality of servers.
  2. Conducting service training to improve customer service skills.
  3. Ensuring customer service matters are addressed promptly.

Hygiene and Food Safety:

  1. Monitoring safety and hygiene standards during operations.
  2. Managing external F&B outlets per contractual and regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensuring external operators have valid licenses and necessary documentation.
  4. Maintaining fire safety, disaster plans, and hygiene standards.
  5. Implementing pest control programs.
  6. Ensuring annual health inspections and certifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in hospitality management or related food certificates (advantageous).
  • At least 10 years of experience in F&B or healthcare sectors.
  • Experience in administrative tasks (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Food service skills (advantageous).
