Job description

Assistant Manager, Finance (Based in Kulim)

Preparation of monthly financial/management reports to ensure timely submission of the financial reports to the Group and JV partner

Responsible to lead and oversee the Finance department to ensure timely closing and accuracy of the reports/transactions.

Analyze the financial performance of the company

Preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc management reports

Assist in the development and implementation of proper accounting systems and internal controls for the Company

Responsible for bi-monthly SST reconciliation and timely submission of SST return and payment to RMCD

Responsible for the annual budget preparation and quarterly profit forecast and commentary reports

Preparation of corporate tax and deferred tax computation

Preparation of tax schedules and timely submission of corporate tax return, tax estimates and revision of tax estimates

Coordinate audit activities and preparation of statutory financial statements 11. Coordinate annual stock take activities

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by superior

What we're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field, recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Candidates with professional certificates such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.

Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and the ability to work independently.

Strong work ethic, integrity, good leadership skills, and self-motivation.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
