We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance who will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. In this role, you will support the Director in overseeing finance and accounting operations, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure compliance with all statutory and financial regulations.

What will you do?

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and statutory reports.
  • Review accounts, cash flow, and profit projections to generate management reports.
  • Assist in setting and tracking the annual budget and revenue/expenditure.
  • Oversee project cost tracking and cash flow analysis for development and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage accounts receivables, payables, and overall financial reporting processes.
  • Prepare audit and tax schedules, and assist with tax submissions.
  • Implement and improve SOPs and internal controls for finance operations.
  • Develop and enforce financial and operational policies for compliance.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and review legal and compliance documents.
  • Support ad-hoc projects like refinancing and asset acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and POS systems.
  • Good understanding of MFRS, IFRS, and Malaysian tax rules.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, team-oriented, independent, meticulous, and organized.
