Job description

Provide support to management and township heads in analyzing township financial results to enable informed business decisions.

Ensure company accounts are maintained accurately and in compliance with accounting standards, providing reliable financial data for decision-making.

Handle taxation, budgeting, and other financial matters for property development companies under charge.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Business and Financial
  2. Analyze township results and provide insights to management.
  3. Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and allocate common costs; monitor actual performance against budgets.
  4. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports (Property Development).
  5. Address financial queries from Project Operations, Strategy, and other departments related to townships.
  6. Ensure accurate monthly closing of accounts and timely submission to the consolidation team.
  7. Conduct monthly reviews of financial statements, highlighting potential issues to management.
  8. Monitor monthly reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, ensuring timely clearance of discrepancies.
  9. Prepare and review statutory accounts for accuracy and completeness; liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  10. Review cash flow projections and feasibility studies for new projects.

Business

  1. Provide financial data to Marketing for pricing and operational decisions.
  2. Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.
  3. Assess system adequacy, identify process improvements, and ensure sound internal controls.

Taxation

  1. Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of tax computations, returns, and related matters such as GST.

Education/Professional Qualification

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  2. Partial completion of ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA, or similar qualifications.
