Job description

  • Take full ownership of e-invoicing compliance, including monthly report submissions via the middleware system. Work closely with consultants on system enhancements and stay updated on regulatory changes to ensure full compliance at all times.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of management accounts prepared by the Senior Finance Executive, including journal vouchers, schedules, supporting notes, and working papers.
  • Review Purchase Requisition Forms, Purchase Orders, and invoices verified by the operations team before initiating payment processes.
  • Annually review the school fee structure and meal plan pricing. Ensure the collection listings are updated and accurate. Evaluate and provide feedback on event costing submitted by the operations team, highlighting any financial concerns.
  • Ensure monthly closing schedules, billing, and payment timelines are adhered to. Provide support to team members on tasks that cannot be completed on time, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Review the monthly cash flow budget and monitor departmental spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Review tax information packs prepared by the team and assist with the preparation of tax computation and submission of annual tax filings.
  • Liaise with parents on matters related to billing, payments, and outstanding collections.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative staff on financial aspects of school trips, events, and other activities.
  • Review monthly SST and Withholding Tax (WHT) submissions and ensure timely payments in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support the preparation of audited financial statements. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, ensuring all required documentation and information are provided promptly.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager as required.
