Role Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting business growth by planning and executing high-impact events that drive revenue and expansion opportunities. This role focuses on developing creative event concepts, managing budgets, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution to enhance the company's brand and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Accountability

  • Event Ideation and Design:
  • Lead the creative process for event ideation, bringing fresh and innovative concepts to life.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand event objectives and translate them into compelling and memorable experiences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate cutting-edge elements into event designs.
  • Develop cohesive event themes that align with organizational branding and resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure seamless integration of brand messaging and identity across all event elements, creating a unified and impactful brand experience.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of immersive event experiences that captivate attendees and exceed expectations.
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and design teams to ensure event concepts align with broader organizational strategies.
  • Budget Management and Oversight:
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish budgetary guidelines and track expenses throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Strategically allocate resources to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Analyze historical event data to provide accurate financial forecasts and cost projections.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising event quality and implement robust cost-control measures to ensure events stay within budget.
  • Regularly assess and adjust spending to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure cost-efficient services.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize long-term relationships.
  • Identify potential financial risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with agreed-upon terms and high-quality delivery of services.
  • Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports to communicate event budget status and outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Working Experience

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in the related industry and event planning.
