About the Role

Oversee and management of Cloud Infrastructure for Group Applications, ensuring the readiness of the infrastructure, integration between the Azure services, authorization and authentication of the services and availability of the cloud resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Environment Readiness

• Provision Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, databases, etc) based on the requests from internal team, in alignment with the solution architecture.
• Coordinate with the internal teams like cloud operation team, security team, to ensure timely and compliant resource deployment.
• Coordinate with external vendors like Microsoft, for any support and discussion regarding service and its related issues.
• Prepare and configure environments for development, testing, production and DR use.
• Pefrom environment validation and handover to the development team with proper access controls.
• Handling of ad-hoc requests related to compliance review, Disaster recovery drill, Document/process updates, etc.
• Ensure the environments comply with internet security policies and regulations.
• Work with Group DevOps team to onboard Group Application cloud solution to the DevOps platform.
• Create knowledge base artifacts and materials for internal use.
• Point of contact for all cloud platform related queries and escalations
• Responsible for optimization of Azure cloud cost
• Maintain up-to date inventory of Azure resources
• Prepare Azure Consumption Report for users.

(B) GenAI Initiatives

• Work on emerging technologies for Gen AI and provide technical support for Gen AI Platforms and environments.
• Involvement in building and testing of Gen AI PoC’s.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education – Graduation in Computer science or any related IT field
• Experience – Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in IT domain, especially on the skill sets required for this position
• Advanced SQL skills and relational database management
• Familarity with cloud setups and DevOps.
• Certifications/licenses – Azure certification could be an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with a team.
