Role Summary
The Assistant Manager will play a key role in managing corporate and board reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning local operations with HQ corporate governance standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage complex stakeholder coordination across functions and borders.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Reporting (to Singapore HQ)
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with HQ templates and timelines.
- Coordinate across departments to gather data on business performance, risk, compliance, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with corporate policies and group-wide reporting standards.
- Support HQ in audits, group-level reporting initiatives, and data validation exercises.
Board Reporting (Local)
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of materials for local Board of Directors meetings, including agenda papers, decks, and minutes.
- Maintain proper documentation of all Board decisions and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support the Board with any ad-hoc reporting or compliance updates as required.
Compliance Tracking
- Maintain and update the local compliance calendar, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal deadlines (statutory filings, certifications, audits, etc.).
- Monitor compliance with corporate policies issued by HQ and local regulations.
- Support implementation of internal policies, training, and awareness campaigns related to ethics, governance, and risk.
- Liaise with HQ Corporate Affairs / Compliance teams on compliance reporting and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in corporate reporting, compliance, governance, or corporate secretariat roles.
- Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks and reporting requirements in a multinational or regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively across different teams and cultures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with reporting or document management systems is an advantage.
- Experience in the aviation or engineering sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
