Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the development, review, and implementation of the group's strategic plan (short-term, mid-term, and long-term), including setting objectives, identifying initiatives, and establishing performance metrics.
  2. Monitor the progress of key performance indicators and metrics of strategic initiatives and business performance. Prepare and review reports from all companies to identify areas of concern and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Assist in coordinating the yearly and mid-year budgeting through close interaction with subsidiaries, divisions, and departments in line with the group's strategic plan.
  4. Perform analysis and evaluation of the group's business plan and strategies for opportunities, positioning, and market focus, in addition to financial performance. The analysis will be used to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the market, business opportunities, trends, customer and competitor landscapes. Monitor key external and internal factors for both micro and macro environments, which may influence the direction and success of adopted strategies.
  6. Prepare and maintain reports regarding strategic initiatives, operational performance tracking, and project delivery tracking.
  7. Ensure fulfillment of objectives through project monitoring, strategy advisory, and project management to subsidiaries. Manage and monitor initiatives under the Business Improvement Plan (BIP) and Business Turnaround Plan (BTP).
  8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs, align objectives, and foster a collaborative planning process.
  9. Prepare meeting packs, proposal papers, and presentation materials, whenever required.
  10. Perform such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
  11. Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree, Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Professional Certificates, or equivalent in Finance / Accountancy / Banking, Business Studies / Administration / Management.
  • Preferably at least 8 years of related working experience.
  • Possess strategic and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess strong leadership and collaboration management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in dealing with stakeholders, authorities, etc.
  • Initiative, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
