Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Corporate Finance Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves supporting the Group’s financial activities, conducting feasibility analyses, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have experience in corporate finance, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant field is mandatory.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in corporate finance or investment banking.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics required.

Job description

  • To support the Group’s corporate finance activities including M&As, fund raising, strategic planning and group restructuring etc.
  • To research, compile and analyse information to support the evaluation of the Project feasibility study including financial modelling, projections, business model and cost and benefit analysis.
  • To execute and implement corporate exercises in line with the Group’s long term goals and in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare board papers and support it with relevant analysis and details.
  • Oversight of transaction due diligence.
  • Deal structuring and other transaction related matters
  • Working closely with and coordinate the internal teams within the Group as well as the external parties such as advisers, solicitors and financing providers.
  • Maintaining abreast of the changing business landscape in order to identify opportunities to drive both organic and inorganic growth.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for financial modeling, data analytics, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong business acumen.
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Listing Requirements and CMSA.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

  • Highest level of integrity, character, and ethics.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, research analysis, or investment banking.
