This position focuses on managing and executing corporate communication initiatives that enhance the company's reputation, brand presence, and employee engagement. The Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs (Communication), will coordinate and implement strategies in corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring consistent and effective messaging aligned with Deleum Group’s values and objectives.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Corporate Communication Strategies Develop and execute corporate communication plans and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Manage corporate messaging across internal and external communication channels. Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and branding across all communication materials.
Content Development Create and oversee the development of high-quality communication materials, including newsletters, press releases, corporate presentations, speeches, and digital content. Manage content updates on corporate websites and social media platforms.
Media Relations Foster and maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage of the company’s initiatives and events. Coordinate media interviews, press releases, and responses to media inquiries.
Corporate Events and Public Relations Assist in planning and executing key corporate events, exhibitions, and sponsorship activities to boost the company’s brand visibility. Oversee event communication strategies, including pre-event promotions, on-site messaging, and post-event evaluations.
Stakeholder Engagement Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring prompt and effective communication on corporate matters. Collaborate with various departments to align communication efforts with broader organizational objectives.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Collaborate with the CSR team to develop communication strategies for CSR programs, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
Annual Reports and Publications Assist in the preparation and production of annual reports and other corporate publications. Ensure compliance with corporate branding and regulatory requirements.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
At least 4 years working experience in Marketing Communications, Public Relations or related fields.
Strong command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong Interpersonal Skills.
Good organisational, administrative and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as well as in a team.
