Pacific & Orient Berhad is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary Manager to support the Company Secretary in corporate duties and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a CGI qualification, significant experience in corporate secretarial matters, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience.
  • Experience with public listed companies or secretarial practice is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

  • Assist the Company Secretary with corporate secretarial duties.
  • Organise and compile meeting papers for Board meetings.
  • Prepare the Company's Annual Report and other required analyses.

Job description

To assist the Company Secretary in discharging corporate secretarial duties and ensuring statutory compliance for group companies.

To handle all aspects of company secretarial works, including organising, coordinating, and compiling meeting papers for Board and Board Committee meetings, drafting resolutions and minutes.

Prepare the Company’s Annual Report and other reports and analyses as required.

Requirements:

CGI (ICSA) qualification and a member of MAICSA

Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience.

Experience in handling corporate secretarial matters; exposure in a public listed company or secretarial practice will be an added advantage.

Good interpersonal, communication, and minutes writing skills.

Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
