Get to Know the Role
- We are looking for Assistant Manager of the Regional Collections Analytics, QC & Training team to support the team in the data-related processes as well as quality control and training related processes in the Collections area
- You will report into the Manager, Regional Collections Analytics, QC & Training and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will be responsible for all regular reports and ad-hoc collection-related analysis for all countries and monitor backend strategies and ensure operations are running in all 6 countries
- You will work with country collection managers and the data team for all collection related inquiries and targets.
- You will provide support in designing and accomplishing dynamic collection strategies for backend (late, DPD >90+) collections, ensuring qualified accounts are endorsed to the External CollectionAgency (ECA) monthly and tracking their repayment and performance.
- You will assist country collection managers in preparing and forecasting budgets, including the number of agents and collection activity costs (e.g. SMS, Telco, Incentive, LOD, among others).
- You will support the in other initiatives such as UAT for system migration and testing of new technology to enhance collection efficiency and customer engagement.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have a degree holder in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- You have a min of 5+ years of working experience preferably in the Fintech industry or financial services.
- You have knowledge of credit risk management, debt recovery strategies, and legal regulations are good to have.
- You have a strong understanding of database structures and tools such as SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization or analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Excel VBA, Python for data analysis).
