The candidate will be responsible for product design and management scope, including product concept development, visioning, schematic design proposals, detailed design checks, and advising on architectural issues related to product development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept Design Stage

• Analyze the development brief and prepare an overall concept plan.
• Develop concept visioning and theming for products and master planning.
• Conduct interim product testing and feasibility studies to establish clear design directions and deliverables.
• Evaluate possible concept design options for management review.
• Create a robust design brief for external consultants to execute the design vision.

Schematic Design Stage

• Manage external consultants’ deliverables, ensuring compliance with the design direction.
• Develop and evaluate design options for management review.
• Ensure the design brief aligns with development control guidelines.

Design Development Stage

• Coordinate with consultants on layout and building plan preparations.
• Ensure planning and building submissions meet the client’s brief.
• Collaborate with various departments on architectural issues.
• Monitor and review the design development process of architects.

Post Design Development Stage

• Review approved layouts and building plans as required.
• Discuss and resolve architectural issues with consultants.

Others

• Assist Project Management and Marketing departments with architectural input and advice.
• Support the preparation of strategic planning materials.
• Provide additional architectural input as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in architectural practice, including consultancy and developer offices.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong design skills and creativity, with the ability to develop and interpret ideas into development briefs.
• Proficiency in drafting, 3D modeling, presentation, and graphic software.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling, BIM, and visualization tools is an advantage.
• High level of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
