The Assistant Manager, Admissions and Visa is responsible for achieving the set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Unit. The position will work closely with the Director, Future Students to assist in managing the team in four key areas: Admissions, Visa, Financial Aid, and Insurance, to meet the acquisition targets for the pre-university and degree qualifications portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide staff involved in Admissions, Financial Aid, Visa, and Insurance.
- Set performance targets for staff and monitor progress.
- Establish and uphold professional standards for staff members.
- Monitor and report on Key Metrics for all related sub-units.
Process Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with University policies related to student admissions, international student management, and sponsorships.
- Adhere to the University’s rules regarding finance, marketing, purchases, and travel documentation.
- Ensure all external communications comply with relevant regulations.
- Assist in developing and monitoring performance plans and KPIs.
- Conduct annual performance reviews with the Director, Future Students.
- Optimize processes to enhance conversion rates from prospective to enrolled students, using system and analytical tools for continuous improvement.
Staff Management
Job Requirements
External
- Manage relationships with suppliers, agencies, and government bodies.
- Develop briefs, tenders, and negotiate service agreements.
Internal
- Build effective relationships with Faculties, Schools, and administrative staff.
- Coordinate with Student Recruitment to meet KPIs and targets.
Relationship Management
- Complete the Key Selection Form and prepare necessary documents such as CV, academic certificates, and transcripts.
Budget Planning
- Plan and execute the annual budget in consultation with the Director, including cost allocation, expenditure monitoring, and resource reallocation.
How to Apply
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with 3-5 years of experience, including supervisory experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in managing compliance with government policies and agency relations.
- Strong process formulation skills and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work extra hours as needed.
