Job summary
A manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to assist in daily operations and prepare various financial reports. Candidates must have a degree in accounting, at least 3 years of experience in managing full accounts, and proficiency in accounting software. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts.
- Minimum 2 years in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Overview
- Assisting Account Manager in managing daily operations of Account Department.
- Manage effective monthly management report, forecasting report and budgeting report.
- Compute and manage on the monthly product costing, finished good costing and stock costing.
- Monitor and reconciled on the monthly stock closing.
- Liaise with external parties (i.e., company secretary, auditor, tax agent etc.).
- Monitor on the companies fixed asset registered list and issue tagging number for new addition.
- Review all the journal entries pass by account executive.
- Check on fixed asset, prepayment, deposits, accruals listing and other control list.
- Prepare sales agent incentive calculation on monthly basis.
- Prepare sales analysis include of local sales analysis, export analysis, sales target report, sales agent income statement for management.
- Review on account executive day-to-day operations of overall account functions.
- Assist and improve internal control system.
- To carry out any other duties/job tasks as instructed by Head of Department or Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other relevant accounting qualification.
- At least 3 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts, management accounting, and related financial analysis exposure.
- At least 2 years of working in Manufacturing industry.
- Required skill(s): Accounting Knowledge, Ms Office, especially Excel & Autocount.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Experienced with accounting software.
