Preparation of monthly consolidation, reporting pack and worksheets in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard (“MFRS”) and group accounting policies
Review and analyse subsidiaries’ management accounts
Provide guidance and work closely with finance teams across all regions
Monitor financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and improve efficiencies of the system/work processes
Draft audited financial statements
Prepare tax estimate, tax computation, forecasting, annual budgeting and transfer pricing documentation
Liaise with external parties such as auditors and tax consultants
Handle ad-hoc financial functions/assignments from time to time
Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance and/or recognised Professional Certificate such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, including group consolidation
Preferably with audit experience
Good knowledge of MFRS, tax regulations and any other regulatory requirements
Proficient user with advanced knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel (e.g. macro, PivotTable)
Exposure to SAP accounting system would be an added advantage
Independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Meticulous with strong analytical skills and technical knowledge
