Job summary

Cari, based in Malaysia, seeks a detail-oriented professional for Asset Services support. You will analyze processes, propose improvements, and maintain quality control across operations.

Preferred candidates have a degree in accounting/finance/management/business administration and at least 1 year in securities or asset services, with solid MS Office and reporting

• A degree in accounting/finance/management/business administration. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
• MS Office proficiency with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good interpersonal and leadership abilities; capable of building relationships across teams.
• Fluent English; able to write business letters and reports; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand processes’ functions and objectives across Business Areas.
• Provide ideas and solutions to smoothen complex processes.
• Quality control and timely updates to the internal error log.
• Participate in and execute Emergency Escalation Plans for Operations Teams.
• Share best practices related to Asset Services processes across the team.
• Maintain self-efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Engage with stakeholders, clients and other relevant parties.
• Initiate ideas for process improvements.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant Securities/Asset Services field

• Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills.
• Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.
• Ability to learn quickly and transfers knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data.
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently, write business letters and reports, and have good conversational / telephone skills.
• Experience in producing and preparing reports.
