Job summary

ALLSTAR IP (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support Outlet and Operations Managers, oversee daily outlet operations, and ensure efficient team performance and guest service.

You will supervise, brief, assign stations, monitor standards, and coordinate reservations and events while addressing guest concerns and managing handovers. Nights, weekends, and public holidays availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or assistant-management experience in hospitality, nightlife or food and beverage is preferred.
• Strong communication, team-leadership and customer-service skills.
• Organised, hands-on and able to remain calm during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift leader when assigned and support managers in daily outlet operations.
• Check team attendance, grooming, punctuality and readiness before opening.
• Conduct briefings, assign stations and monitor service standards during the shift.
• Coordinate table service, reservations, VIP arrangements and special-event requirements.
• Handle routine guest concerns, staff issues and service recovery before escalating serious matters.
• Support opening and closing checks, cash controls, stock procedures and shift handovers.
• Coach new and existing team members and provide practical performance feedback.
• Monitor cleanliness, safety and compliance with company SOPs.
• Prepare accurate shift reports and communicate unresolved matters to the next manager.

About you
