About the role

Safeguards Secure Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective operations and management of our thriving cash management business. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction are maintained
  • Monitoring staff performance and providing coaching and mentorship
  • Implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management
  • Identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar Assistant Manager or supervisory role within the logistics, facilities, or freight forwarding industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and inventory control
  • Good understanding of cash management operations and day-to-day branch management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Diploma or degree in a related field
