Job Description
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible in assisting the Manager in all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent member experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
· Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
· Report on Management regarding sales results and productivity. Maintain cost control measures to reduce wastage and improve profitability.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations of the caterer to ensure the caterer meets the club’s quality, hygiene, and service standards.
· Develop F&B promotion plan, including seasonal offers, festive menus, and monthly promotions.
· Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness.
· Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.
· Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures.
· Comply with all health and safety regulations.
· Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
· Proficient in MS Office and F&B management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory tools).
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. (Rotational shift)
