Job description

【Job Responsibilities】
- Oversee and manage the legal affairs of the group and provide legal support in all corporate, legal, secretarial as well as operation.
- Manage legal and compliance services to align with the commercial requirements set forth by the management.
- Manage and resolve legal issues or disputes internally such as employer-employee issues or with third parties such as contractors, suppliers or purchasers.
- Handle and manage litigation cases including liaison with external solicitors.
- Assist in monitoring company's compliance with statutory requirements, by laws, regulations, authorities rulings as well as Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
- Lead in major sales and purchase transaction, corporate restructuring, due diligence process, acquisition and administration of security documentation.
- Conducting legal research and providing legal opinion on matters relating to potential business projects and daily operation of the Company.
- Attending tribunals and hearings relating to industrial relations and labor disputes as and when required.
- Liaising and coordinating with external law firms for civil suits and related disputes.
- Liaising and coordinating with internal employees to solve and advise any legal-related issues.
- To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
