Position: Assistant IT Manager (Systems Support)
Location: MILA University, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. (10 Minutes from Nilai Toll!)

Are you an experienced IT professional looking to grow your career in a forward-thinking academic institution? MILA University is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant IT Manager (Systems Support) to manage and support our enterprise systems, ensuring seamless operations and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete project lifecycle for IT systems or IT-related projects.
- Establish, design, and maintain sustainable systems support processes, including incident and change management tracking.
- Support change/enhancement requests and ensure changes are released into production without service disruption.
- Engage with internal business stakeholders and support functions to gather requirements and implement approved changes.
- Support the operation and administration of the University’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Handle the day-to-day setup, support, maintenance, and housekeeping of University systems.
- Collaborate with the service delivery team to uphold IT service standards.
- Work closely with the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure smooth application operations and compliance.
- Maintain productive relationships with vendors for issue resolution, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
- Apply working knowledge of hosting business systems in a cloud environment (e.g., Azure, AliCloud).
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing IT projects and providing ERP system support (CMS, Finance, HRMS, SharePoint, etc.).
- Minimum 3–5 years of IT helpdesk or end-user support experience, preferably within the education sector.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is a must to maintain Mandarin-based system.
- Interest and experience in programming is preferred.
- Strong project management skills in enterprise systems.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based application hosting and maintenance.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage teams in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, evaluative, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive attitude toward maintaining high service standards.
