We are seeking a dedicated Assistant / HR & Data Manager to support and manage our local entity in Malaysia.

The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder engagement, and the ability to maintain smooth HR operations across departments and branches. Skills in data mining, presenting findings clearly, and creating compelling PowerPoint presentations are required.

Your Role

  1. HR Administration & Support
  2. Oversee daily HR operations and administration teams.
  3. Manage onboarding and offboarding documents, including orientation and induction.
  4. Ensure documentation compliance with ISO audits and HR standards.
  5. Maintain HR records and work with HR vendors.
  6. Manage employee leave systems and data accuracy in HRIS.
  7. Coordinate with admin and expatriate teams.

Payroll Management

  1. Organize payroll data and liaise with payroll vendors.
  2. Verify OT, incentives, commissions, and tax-related data.

Employee Shareholding

  1. Manage employee shareholding profiles and campaigns.
  2. Coordinate with finance on share transactions.

Internal Audit & Compliance

  1. Ensure HR activities comply with internal standards and regulations.
  2. Address audit findings promptly.
  3. Keep HR updated on employee data, compensation, and benefits.

Workplace Health & Safety

  1. Collaborate with facilities and purchasing teams to meet safety standards.
  2. Support crisis and pandemic management, ensuring business continuity.

Additional Tasks

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay; Chinese is a bonus.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience, including payroll (SAP HR preferred).
  • Experience in multinational corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Excel.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, independent, and team-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, mature.
