ABOUT THE JOB

To lead the development and execution of the Group’s ESG procurement roadmap, monitor and report on sustainability performance, and promote ethical, transparent sourcing practices. This role drives the internal adoption of ESG policies and enhances supply chain resilience by actively engaging with key stakeholders to deliver long-term value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous refinement of Telekom Malaysia's Sustainability procurement roadmap, ensuring that all procurement practices align with corporate sustainability objectives and established standards.
2. Monitor sustainability metrics (e.g., carbon footprint, supplier sustainability, ethical sourcing), analyze procurement-related sustainability data, and provide regular reports to senior management, ensuring alignment with sustainability targets and regulatory compliance.
3. Drive integration of ESG criteria into all stages of the procurement process, from supplier selection to contract execution.
4. Focus on enhancing internal Group Procurement practices, while ensuring these technologies align with Telekom Malaysia’s environmental goals.
5. Develop and implement initiatives that promote inclusive, sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain. Engage with suppliers to drive improvements in environmental impact, social governance, and ethical sourcing.
6. Lead proactive engagement with suppliers to foster collaboration on sustainability initiatives, ensuring their operations meet Telekom Malaysia’s sustainability standards and expectations.
