Assistant FM (Trading/Manufacturing/Retail/F&B) Subang/Shah Alam/Sg Buloh/Kepong

Senior Accounts Executives/Assistant Finance Managers (Trading/Manufacturing/Retail/F&B) for locations in the vicinity of;

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all accounting functions to ensure the monthly and yearly financial statements are prepared accurately and timely. Assist external auditors during year-end audits.
  • Manage all payment functions, including accounts payable, sundry creditors, and staff claims, to ensure payments are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure payments received are correctly posted into the accounts and that credit control functions effectively.
  • Manage cash flow and closely monitor bank balances.
  • Ensure timely issuance of bank guarantees and prompt collection of deposits upon expiry.
  • Assist with company secretarial matters, verifying board resolutions, statutory documents, and annual returns before deadlines.
  • Coordinate with tax agents to handle corporate tax matters, including tax returns, payments, reports, schedules, and provisional tax revisions.
  • Ensure timely renewal of company insurances in consultation with the Executive Director.
  • Adhere to existing financial controls, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Develop departmental SOPs and advise relevant parties.
  • Conduct annual staff appraisals, revise job descriptions, and align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the company's fixed asset register.
  • Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of accounting documents for at least seven years as required by IRB.
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
