Job description

Office Space Design Development & Pitching

  • Develop office space designs and planning concepts using material boards, sample boards, mock-ups, and material/product libraries, along with creating client presentation decks.
  • Coordinate as the main liaison for a team of external consultants, including outsourced interior designers, design professionals, and construction contractors, from design to project completion.
  • Prepare design and construction fee proposals in consultation with the Principal Architect, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain and organize project files for documentation, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical and design support to the Business Development team.
  • Oversee internal renovation works such as enhancements and refurbishments.

Project & Construction Management

  • Create construction/fit-out timelines in consultation with clients, ID consultants, contractors, and the Principal Architect.
  • Apply for relevant permits from authorities before commencing site works.
  • Manage site possession and conduct initial defect checks with contractors before starting work.
  • Schedule and coordinate trades, contractors, and suppliers to adhere to project timelines.
  • Attend site meetings to monitor progress, make decisions, and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on site progress.
  • Conduct defect checks and manage rectifications before handover.
  • Arrange for defect rectification during the maintenance period.

Project Cost & Variation Management

  • Manage project costs and ensure expenditures stay within budget.
  • Track variations and obtain client confirmation before proceeding, including documenting variations in claims and payments.
