JOB SUMMARY
Playing a key role in driving standardized reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insightful dashboards and analytics to support strategic decision-making across the finance function. This role will oversee the end-to-end management of reporting activities, facilitate automation initiatives, and act as a key liaison between finance stakeholders and the analytics team to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate centralized reporting activities across multiple finance domains (P2P, O2C, R2R).
- Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of standardized reports and dashboard using tools (Power BI).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive automation of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a repository of reporting documentation, templates, and data definitions to promote consistency.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot reporting issues, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Provide insightful analysis and commentary to support business planning and performance management
- Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team, promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Support ad-hoc reporting needs and participate in strategic reporting-related projects or transformation initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of finance processes and performance metrics (e.g. P&L, working capital).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data into meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with databases and data querying (e.g. SQL, Power Query).
- Knowledge of reporting automation techniques and tools (e.g. VBA, RPA, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, version control, and report lifecycle management.
- Experience working in a shared service or global business services (GBS) environment is advantageous.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or related functions.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global organization is preferred.
