Assistant Finance Manager (F&B group based in Petaling Jaya)

Position Summary: The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  2. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely finalization of the balance sheet on a monthly basis.
  5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors.
  7. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  8. Manage cash flow and oversee banking operations.
  9. Collaborate with department heads to manage costs and improve financial performance.
  10. Utilize financial software to streamline accounting and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
