Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the company complies with the Accounting Standards regarding treatment of accounting transactions and disclosures.
  2. Responsible for preparing, evaluating and interpreting monthly management reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements and other accounting statements on profit management and financial position, as well as quarterly, semi-annually and annual forecasts and reports for one or more cost and profit centres.
  3. Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of targets and budgets.
  4. Ensure adherence to uniform accounting principles and adequate internal controls, in accordance with the policies and procedures.
  5. Issue all procedures defining the manner in which financial accounting transactions are to be recorded.
  6. Ensure all taxation-related matters are in accordance with the policies and procedures.
  7. Liaise with auditors when called for during the performance of their audit.
  8. Ensure all accounting information required by top management for the purpose of obtaining funds are available and assist in the solicitation and negotiation of finance.
  9. Ensure coordination and advise subordinates in their accounting activities.
  10. Provide management with periodic reports of planned activities, progress, problems, and suggested solutions.
  11. Discharge other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Finance Manager.
  12. Monitor daily cash flow position to ensure sufficient cash resources to meet financial obligations on a timely basis.
  13. Undertake special or ad-hoc tasks/assignments/projects as required by Management.
  14. E-invoicing, Sales taxes, custom submission.

Requirements:

  1. Min Degree or professional qualification in accounting or relevant field.
  2. At least 5 years working experience in accounting or finance functions.
  3. Must possess knowledge in legal matters pertaining to legal action on default payment by debtor.
  4. Good analytical and judgment skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of current accounting principles and guidelines.
  6. Tax knowledge.
